HPMB Participates in Webinar on Claims of Bias in Healthcare

Alejandra R. Gil, Partner in our White Plains office and member of HPM&B’s DEI Committee, recently participated in a Shared Learning Webinar presented by MCIC Vermont. Alejandra, and Dr. Uché Blackstock, founder and CEO of Advancing Health Equity (AHE) and author of “Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons with Racism in Medicine”, discussed the impact of bias on the delivery of healthcare and how claims of bias can be litigated in the courts. HPM&B would like to thank MCIC Vermont for inviting our firm to participate in this important discussion.
