Summary Judgment Dismissal

HPM&B recently obtained summary judgment dismissal on behalf of a major New York Hospital in a case venued in Supreme Court, Richmond County. The case involved a trip-and-fall in the hospital. HPM&B established that the plaintiff could not identify the cause of her fall. HPM&B also established that the fall did not cause plaintiff’s alleged injuries. The Court granted HPM&B’s motion as to both liability and causation and dismissed the case in its entirety.
