Civil Rights

HPM&B has a long history of representing employers, including private institutions and municipalities, in state and federal court cases involving alleged civil rights violations.  These actions are typically brought by workers, incarcerated individuals, and patients of medical providers.  We routinely handle civil rights cases pertaining to Section 1983 of Title 42 of the United States Code, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and The New York City Human Rights Law.
