Christina M. Accumanno

Christina M. Accumanno joined the firm as an associate in 2024. The majority of Christina’s practice focuses on the representation of medical institutions, individual physicians, and other medical personnel in complex medical malpractice actions. She is involved in all stages of litigation, with particular attention to case development, legal research, litigation strategy, motion practice, liability evaluation, and trial preparation. Prior to joining HPM&B, Christina worked as an associate at a firm specializing in medical malpractice defense in White Plains, New York.

During law school, she was an intern with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York and the Investigations Bureau of the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. She credits her experience as the Risk Management Coordinator at a local hospital in Westchester as giving her the background required to practice in such a specialized area of the law.

Christina is a member of both the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association

Christina was recently recognized as one of the Super Lawyers 2021, 2022 and 2023 New York Metro Rising Stars in medical malpractice defense.
