Greg Freedman
Greg Freedman is Of Counsel in HPMB’s Garden City Office, and he is a member of the firm’s Appellate Practice group. He has successfully handled appeals and dispositive motions in high-stakes medical malpractice, negligence, Labor Law, Child Victims Act, bankruptcy, and contract actions, and he regularly appears in the First and Second Departments of the Appellate Division.
In addition to drafting appellate briefs, Greg works with HPMB’s attorneys to formulate litigation strategies and analyze key legal issues from the onset of a case all the way through trial. He also assists with preparing a wide variety of motions involving nuanced questions of substantive and procedural law.
Prior to joining HPMB, Greg specialized in appellate law at both defense and plaintiff’s-side firms, where he litigated complex matters on behalf of individuals, property owners, transportation companies, construction firms, and other entities. He also has experience representing companies in trademark and copyright law matters, including proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and federal infringement lawsuits.
Greg is a member of the New York Bar Association.
