James Navarro
Partner
James Navarro is a partner at HPM&B. He was raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn by his Colombian-born parents. James attended SUNY-Buffalo School of Law where he served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Buffalo Law Review. Following law school, James worked as a Court Attorney for the Appellate Division, Second Department.
At HPM&B, James represents the interests of hospitals, physicians and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions. He also defends premises liability matters. James is involved in all phases of litigation. He has conducted and defended numerous depositions as well as drafted and argued countless motions.
James is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association. He has also served as a volunteer arbitrator for the Civil Court of the City of New York.
James is fluent in Spanish.
