Kathleen is a partner at the firm who devotes the majority of her practice to the areas of medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, and civil rights litigation. Kathleen is an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully obtained a number of no cause verdicts defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice actions. She also has experience assisting and documenting hospital Quality Assurance and Peer Review. Kathleen has lectured on issues related to medical malpractice, Quality Assurance, Peer Review, and Credentialling.
Kathleen is a Past President of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association and has served on the Board of the Legal Aid Society, Troy Rehabilitation & Improvement Program (TRIP); Community Gardens, Commission on Economic Opportunity, Rensselaer County Children’s Center and was a Representative to the New York State Bar Association Trial Lawyer’s Sections. She has served as a Master in the Albany Law School Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Kathleen is also a member of the Albany County, Rensselaer County, and New York State Bar Associations. She has been consistently selected to the Super Lawyers list. Kathleen has lectured for the New York State Bar Association on numerous topics relating to civil litigation including “Medicine in the Courtroom.” She is also a frequent speaker at hospitals and nursing organizations on medico-legal topics.
